For all of the services listed below, items must be dropped off and collected from our premises in Fish Hoek. Simply email us at info@creature-comforts.co.za with description/pictures/etc of the work that needs to be done and we will get back to you with an estimated quote. Be sure to include the service being requested in the subject line.
Washing

All items are soaked overnight to lift all dirt and impurities, followed by a thorough handwash and scrub to ensure that they are thoroughly cleaned. They are then left to airdry in the sunlight, or indoors during rainy conditions.
Weather depending – we do not use tumble dryers. This process can take up to a week to complete.
Repairs
We offer mending and repairs on horse blankets and other lightweight horse items (no leather or heavy-duty items). Our capable seamstresses are also able to replace buckles, snap hooks, Velcro, elastic, and whatever else has deteriorated. We are known to have patched and repaired even the most demolished of blankets!
Repairs are charged by the hour, plus the cost of the items replaced. All items must be washed and clean for our staff to handle hygienically before we can undertake any mending.
